I loved this course and took away from it so much more than just learning Sgraffito techniques. Jolene was generous with information and tips including the use of glaze and underglazes and also how to finish off a project using trimming tools. I feel I came away from the course with so much more than I thought I would and that is going to be useful in projects I undertake. I also liked the fact that I could do the course online and in my own time rather than feeling pressured in a workshop situation - although I also like doing in person workshops! The course was beautifully filmed and very professional and I can't wait for more.

While I had a previous small intro to hand building I feel this course has extended my skill base further, loving the quicker way to build larger vessels! can't wait to start the little creatures course next :) Lindax

I absolutely enjoyed this course! You have a calm voice and calming nature making the course feel very approachable. In additional you offer great tips while also encouraging the artist to trust their creative vibe and process. It's a fabulous mix of instruction and support. I highly recommend this course.

This was such a fun course to do. Jolene is such a wonderful teacher and a delight to learn under. She was so good about showing how to make creatures that are not only like hers, but any that you want to do too. It was so fun to watch these little creatures come to life with a personality as I went through the course.

I feel much more confident with suggestions of how to use natural clay slip, which tools to use, how to use the fine and deeper markings as well as what stage of the process to work on the clay. Jolene has put together a really enjoyable course, it is very inspiring to see what is possible!!
